I put this set together for my BRZ track car that never really eventuated due to covid and other life stuff happening. With that project in the bin, I sent them off to be coated in bronze by the best at No.1 Powder Coating. His bronze finish is the closest I’ve seen to the original anodised finish.
This set of five wheels consists of two original TE37 and three TE37SL
Front pair – 18×9.5″ +38 5×100 original TE37. These were originally anodised bronze but had some light gutter rash. There are two of these for front wheels
Rear 3 – 18×9.5″ +45 5×100 TE37SL. These were originally pressed double black finish. There are three of these. 2 for rear wheels and one as a full sized spare in case s**t happens on track 😉
I chose the +45 for the rears to allow wider rubber on the BRZ without interfering with the guards. The lower offset on the front for better clearance at full lock and to sit flush on the guards without needing stretched tyres at around 3deg neg camber.
All five wheels run straight and true and have not been repaired except to remove some light rash on the lips.
My abandoned project is your gain! Well priced for wheels of this caliber, freshly coated ($1k) and will come with a full set of the original Volk Racing black and white stickers and 4 brand new original RAYS red valve stems/caps as pictured that cost over $200 as well
